I played handball successfully for 13 years (junior national team) and ‘unfortunately’ had to have several operations myself during my career due to sports injuries (especially to my knee). So I was also able to gain various experiences ‘as a patient’.

Further training

  • AORT

  • FDM

  • Physioenergetics

  • State-certified handball instructor

  • aerobics instructor

  • manual therapy

  • taping

I work specifically in the fields of trauma surgery, orthopaedics and sports medicine:

  • after accidents and sports injuries (e.g. cruciate ligament rupture, meniscus injuries, inversion trauma, tennis elbow...)

  • for acute or chronic illnesses/painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system (e.g. slipped disc, sciatica...)

  • after joint and spinal surgery
    for cardiovascular diseases (heart attack...)

  • in the preventive area (e.g. avoidance of muscular imbalances, posture training...)

One of the most important points for me is the customization of the therapy/training to the personal goals and problems of the individual patient, e.g.

  • pain reduction

  • Muscle building training after injury, surgery, immobilization

  • Fat reduction training and improvement of mobility

  • Improving coordination and HVAC functions (endurance training)

  • Sport-specific training

  • Osteoporosis training

Depending on the goal, passive therapy measures alternate with active co-operation on the part of the patient (which is my main focus). I also offer group training (therapeutic gymnastics, bodywork, strengthening and stretching, coordinative stabilisation training for knee injuries) and home visits.

During my 6 years of professional experience at the Lorenz-Böhler-UKH and numerous further training courses, I have been able to specialise intensively in the field of trauma surgery and sports injuries, as well as in the field of orthopaedics and prevention.

After a detailed initial consultation and a precise assessment, I offer patients highly customised therapy with the appropriate manual, passive and active therapeutic measures.

It is very important to me to respond precisely to the patient and to define and develop the therapy goals together in order to achieve the best possible treatment success.
