As a young sportsman, I tore my cruciate ligament once before and had an operation. Unfortunately, I tore my cruciate ligament again while playing football. I came across Dr. Frisee via the internet and was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and cartilage damage in my right knee. I tore my cruciate ligament, tore my meniscus and damaged cartilage just by twisting my knee while skiing in Carinthia during the 2016 semester break. 4 days later, it was my daughter's turn to have a fall while skiing, in which she tore her anterior cruciate ligament. While I was still in the hotel, I searched the internet for a DOCTOR in Vienna, as my other knee was still having problems after a cruciate ligament rupture - so this time I wanted to see a specialist. Because of problems in my knee and a suspicion of meniscus damage from my general practitioner, I went to see Dr. Frisee after some internet research. He diagnosed a meniscus tear, also on the basis of MR images. The operation was scheduled within 10 days and the damage to the knee joint cartilage was also repaired. The surgery is modern, well organised and well located (tram stop practically on the doorstep, garage in the building). The operation was performed in the Döbling Private Clinic opposite with great care and a hotel atmosphere. Dr. Frisee radiates calm and competence, very personable - great experience from working at the Lorenz-Böhler Trauma Hospital!
